Présentation :

Cette journée d’étude internationale s’intéressera aux différents facteurs historiques, sociopolitiques et culturels depuis 1945 susceptibles d’éclairer la situation actuelle des femmes en milieu professionnel dans différents pays de l’Union Européenne.

Partout en Europe, les femmes gagnent moins que les hommes. Selon le bilan dressé par la Commission Européenne, le différentiel moyen hommes-femmes en termes de salaires "stagne" à 16,4%. Le European Professional Women’s Network en arrive à la même conclusion dans le cadre de la journée de l’égalité des salaires, organisée symboliquement le 28 février cette année pour marquer les 59 jours de l’année pendant lesquels les femmes travaillent « pour rien » par rapport aux hommes (...).
