M1 — Text design for print and the web / Structuration de documents web et PAO Anthony Cordingley Le principal objectif de ce cours est de familiariser les étudiant(e)s aux méthodes d’analyse et aux principaux outils liés à la publication en ligne assistée par ordinateur (PAO). Il s’agira d’étudier les enjeux liés à la structuration de documents en ligne. A l’issue de ce cours, l’étudiant(e) devra être capable d’élaborer des modèles de documents structurés en fonction de besoins donnés au moyen d’outils ou d’interfaces de gestion de l’information en ligne. Seront abordées en cours les bases des langages XHTML (eXtensible Hypertext Mark-Up Language) et CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) afin de concevoir et de mettre en ligne une revue électronique. Ces connaissances contribueront par ailleurs à la publication et à la gestion de tout type de document en ligne. The primary aim of this course is to familiarize students with the methods of analysis and the basic tools of desktop publishing and web design. Students will acquire the skills necessary to design documents for print and the web according to the demands of given tools and interfaces of digital information management. They will learn the basics of XHTML (eXtensible Hypertext Mark-Up Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) so as to conceive and publish an on-line review. These skills are essential also to publishing and managing all kinds of online documents. |
