In order to facilitate the stay of their guest researchers and their families, Paris 8 University, Paris 13 University and Supmeca created the Mobility Centre of Northern Paris (CMPN).
The CMPN is a member of the BRACE, Bureau Régional d’Accueil des Chercheurs Etrangers, a regional network of four helpdesks for researchers coordinated by the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) and supported by the Ile-de-France region.
The CMPN joined the 200 mobility centres of the European network ERA-MORE launched in June 2004 within the Framework Programme for the European Research Area and now renamed EURAXESS.

The European mobility centres aim to improve the international mobility of researchers within Europe and towards Europe by offering foreign researchers assistance in all matters : practical information on administrative formalities, housing, schooling or language courses.

  You are a host researcher in a research institution in the North of Paris... and you would like to prepare for your guest researcher’s stay in France...

To benefit from the services offered by the CMPN, researchers have to register on line. There are 3 possibilities :


  you are a PhD student and you want to apply for accommodation at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, register here.


  you are a mobile researcher, holder of a PhD (post-doctorate, teacher, professional researcher) and you want to apply for accommodation at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, register here.


  you are a PhD student or a researcher and you want to benefit from the services of the CMPN but you don’t need accommodation at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (the CMPN also helps to find accommodation but outside the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris), register here.

NB : you will have access to all the services of the CMPN through the 3 different ways of registration (administrative help, insurances, help to open a bank account, cultural guided tours, etc).
